I’m 7 Months Old!

That’s right!  I’m 7 months old!  I can’t believe it!  I have to say, it is sure fun getting older.  I can do a lot of fun things now!  Here is what I love doing!

  • Sleeping 10-12 hours.
  • Eating pears, mixed fruits, apples, carrots, and sweet potatoes.  Oh, can’t forget the oatmeal and puffs!
  • Sitting up and bending all the way over until I’m laying on the floor!
  • Rolling, rolling, and rolling some more!
  • Listening to mommy read books to me.  I love chewing on the books too.
  • Oh, did I mention I chew on everything!
  • Playing in the water.
  • Going on walks with mommy!
  • Dancing to music.
  • Playing  peek-a-boo.
  • Playing with my friends at school!
  • Sitting outside on a blanket.

Here I am sitting out on my blanket.  I loved touching the grass and watching the trees blow in the wind.  I also liked watching the cars zip down the road!  I can’t wait until I can crawl around!

My new favorite game is peek-a-boo.  I discovered how to play when mommy was waiting in the check-out lane at Meijer.

I’m really enjoying month 7!  I can’t wait to see what I’ll be doing next month!  Stay tuned!!

My First Haircut!

I was born with lots of hair!  It has been growing like crazy, so mommy and daddy decided that it was time I got my hair cut.  Mommy and Grandma took me today to see Cheryl.  She’s a nice lady that cuts my mom’s hair.  She put a huge bib on me.  I guess it was so I wouldn’t get lots of hair all over me.  I sat perfectly still and was such a good boy the entire time.  Mommy and daddy say I look so much older now.  What do you think?

Check out this huge bib?  Pretty cool!

Science Olympiad

My daddy is super busy with his Science Olympiad team.  Last Saturday was their competition at GVSU.  The team ordered me a yellow onesie to wear.  Mommy got me all dressed for the awards ceremony.  Aunt Jaime came with us to see how my daddy’s team did.  His team got fifth place and will be going to MSU at the end of April to compete.

Here I am with my daddy.  He was excited to see me and show me off to his team.  I can’t wait until I can compete.  I know he’ll be proud of me!

Mommy and I had a lot of fun cheering for daddy’s team.  I’m excited to go every year and see how the BUCS do!

Sunglasses!

Sunglasses are so much fun to wear!  My Aunt Jaime got me some cool new shades.  I didn’t know what to think about them at first, but now I love wearing them.  I think I’m so cool in them.  Just check me out!  Watch out ladies!!!  I’ll be strolling down the boardwalk and bike paths soon!

Go BLUE!

It’s March Madness at my house.  I don’t really know what that means exactly, but all I know is U of M was playing and I wanted to wear my Michigan clothes.  Luckily I woke up from my nap early to cheer on the Wolverines.  Here I am all dressed for the game.

Don’t I look cool in my Michigan clothes?  Did you notice my hat?  I like wearing it to the side.  I think I look especially adorable with it like this!

And here I am with my hat the correct way.  I got this hat from one of my mommy’s student’s family.  They love Michigan too!

So U of M didn’t end up winning their game against Duke, but I still will cheer for them, especially when football starts.  I can’t wait!!  Go BLUE!!!

Mommy’s Day Off

So my mommy didn’t have school on Friday.  We had a lot to do!  First, my Uncle Chad came over because we had some new furniture coming.  Mommy and daddy finally got some new furniture for the up stairs.  I LOVE it.  It has some fun pillows that Aunt Jaime put me in.  Here I am enjoying the pillows!

Okay, so I was a little nervous at first, but after it was fun!

Next, my mommy and Grandma Rosema went to the store to get me some pears to put in my cereal.  We went to the doctor today and he said it was okay for mommy to make my cereal more yummy.  Yay!!  It was tasting kind of bland!  Here I am with Aunt Jaime feeding me my cereal and pears.

There’s something different with this cereal!

Okay, this isn’t so bad!  I may have to get used to this!

Last, mommy and daddy and I had a relaxing night after a busy day.  I love just playing at home.  There is never a dull moment at my house!

It’s Cereal Time!

_MG_1893

This weekend mommy bought me a new chair to sit in.  She sat me in my new chair, threw on a bib, and stuck this thing she calls a spoon in my mouth.  The spoon had some soggy white stuff on it that she calls cereal.  I didn’t know what to think!  It was different than my bottles that I’ve been drinking.  I pushed it out of my mouth and she took that spoon and shoved it back in.  We did this for awhile, but eventually I ate some of it.  I’m excited to try it again!
